Parameters and Pulsation Constant of Cepheid

چکیده
The analysis of fifty empirical period-radius relations and forty-three period-luminosity is performed for the Cepheids. It found that most these have significant systematic errors. A new metrological method suggested to exclude errors using temperature scale various samples In this regard, reliable between mass, radius, effective surface temperature, luminosity, absolute magnitude on one hand, pulsation period other as well dependence radius mass are determined Cepheids types δ Cephei Scuti from Galaxy. These permit us accurately determine value constant both first time. very weakly depends Cepheid, contrary known theoretical calculation. Hence, pulsate almost a unified whole homogeneous spherical body in wide ranges star’s evolutionary state with an extremely inhomogeneous distribution stellar substance over its volume. Therefore, it Cepheid is, all, homogenous shell gravitational mass. This triggered by well-known effects; example, local optical opacity overshooting, usual substance.

The State of Cepheid Pulsation Theory
We review the current state of Cepheid modeling and discuss its dominant deficiency, namely the use of time dependent mixing length. Notwithstanding, Cepheid modeling has achieved some excellent successes, and we mention some of the most recent ones. Discrepancies between observations and modeling appear not so much in the gross properties of single mode Cepheids, but rather when more subtle no...
متن کاملCepheid metallicity and Hubble constant
This study combines data from a set of seven Cepheid-calibrated galaxies in Virgo, Leo I and Fornax and four supernovæ with known metallicities, including metallicity corrections to the Cepheid distances, in order to determine a consistent mean value for the Hubble constant. We derive Virgo and Coma distances over different paths, starting from the metallicity corrected Cepheid distances of Vir...
متن کاملCepheid Mass-loss and the Pulsation – Evolutionary Mass Discrepancy
I investigate the discrepancy between the evolution and pulsation masses for Cepheid variables. A number of recent works have proposed that non-canonical mass-loss can account for the mass discrepancy. This mass-loss would be such that a 5M⊙ star loses approximately 20% of its mass by arriving at the Cepheid instability strip; a 14M⊙ star, none. Such findings would pose a serious challenge to o...
متن کاملClassical Cepheid Pulsation Models: IX. New Input Physics
We constructed several sequences of classical Cepheid envelope models at solar chemical composition (Y = 0.28, Z = 0.02) to investigate the dependence of the pulsation properties predicted by linear and nonlinear hydrodynamical models on input physics. To study the dependence on the equation of state (EOS) we performed several numerical experiments by using the simplified analytical EOS origina...
متن کاملCepheid calibration of type Ia Supernovae and the Hubble constant
We investigate how a different calibration of the Cepheid Period-Luminosity (PL) relation taking into account the metallicity corrections, affects the absolute magnitude calibration of Supernovae (SNe) Ia and, in turn, the determination of the Hubble constant H0. We exploit SN Ia light curves from literature and previously unpublished data, to build the MB – ∆m15(B) relation and we calibrate th...
